As an alternative to the road safety program, WS NSW offers a talk to students on disability sport including the types of sport played in a wheelchair, the similarities/differences between wheelchair sport and the able bodied equivalent, some of the challenges of competing in sport with a disability and some of the positives.

This program is tailored to the disability studies offered by schools as part of the PDHPE program and can include topics of your choice.

A game of wheelchair basketball is then played between the students to give them a taste of wheelchair sport. 

The structure of the sessions and cost are the same as for a road safety roadshow program.
