KEEGAN OH-CHEE HELPS OPEN PENNANT HILLS BRANCH OF ST.GEORGE BANK
St.George Bank today officially launches its new Pennant Hills branch, joined by Mr Greg Smith MP, State Member for Epping and Shadow Attorney General, The Hon. Philip Ruddock MP, Federal Member for Berowra, Mr Nick Berman, Mayor of Hornsby Shire Council and Mr Greg Bartlett, St.George Bank Chief Executive.
Branch Manager for the new Pennant Hills branch, Sachelle Oekinghaus, said she was delighted to be bringing the unique St.George banking experience to local residents.
The event also includes a cheque presentation from St.George Foundation to Wheelchair Sports NSW. Greg Kenny presented the cheque for $15,000 to Jim O’Brien, Chief Executive Officer of Wheelchair Sports NSW and sixteen-year-old wheelchair sportsman, Keegan Oh-Chee, from Epping. Funds will go toward the Wheelchair Christmas Camp for Kids program.
St.George Foundation has donated more than $80,000 to Wheelchair Sports NSW since 1999 to provide opportunities for all age groups and levels of abilities to enjoy the benefits sport provides. The Foundation helps Aussie kids by raising funds to improve the lives of children with a disability and disadvantaged children and was established by St.George Bank in 1990.
