The Rollers crowned World Champions

The Australian Men's Wheelchair Basketball Team were crowned the World Champions of wheelchair basketball after defeating France 79-69 in Birmingham, UK.
WS NSW was represented by Bill Latham, Brett Stibners, Tristan Knowles, John McPhail, Grant Mizens and Jeremy Doyle.
The Rollers were undefeated in their Pool Table and went on to defeat Poland in their quarter final and then defeated the USA in the semi finals before taking out the Championship on Saturday 17 July 2010.

Gliders finish fourth at World Championships

The Australian Women's Wheelchair Basketball Team placed fourth at the World Championships after being defeated by Canada in the Bronze medal match (49-59).
WS NSW was represented by Tina McKenzie, Liesl Tesch, Kylie Gauci, Sarah Stewart and Katie Hill.
The girls defeated China in the quarter finals, but were unsuccessful in the Semi finals against Germany which left them playing for the bronze medal.
