The Slam Down Under will be divided into 2 competitions - competitive and social. Divisions within the competitive and social classes will then be created based on the number of entrants. Both team and individual entries are accepted.

Competitive - An elite competition played under the 17-point rule. Male, female and mixed teams are accepted. Athletes must be classified.

Development - A division for new and developing players. Male, female and mixed teams are encouraged. While this division is designed to be played under the 3/2 rule this may be altered by agreement of team managers prior to each match. Players in this division are new or returning players who do not necessarily take part in regular training or competition.

Number of matches and playing time are dependent on entry numbers. The draw will be released prior to the event.
