Wheelchair Sports Experience FAQ's And Policies

What time will our Wheelchair Sport NSW/ACT presenter arrive?
Your presenter will arrive approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. As presenters are in wheelchairs, we require a couple of staff members or participants to assist with the unloading and loading of equipment to and from our van.

Where do we find the presenters Working With Children Check and D.O.B?
Your presenter details are listed in your booking confirmation, we will include a link to the WWCC, DOB so you can verify WWCC and the presenters mobile number for any urgent last minute changes, please double check presenter details in your ‘one week out’ re-confirmation email as presenter details may change due to unforeseen circumstances.

How do we pay Wheelchair Sports NSW/ACT?
We will email your invoice to your provided email address including a link for ease of payment. As we are a charitable organisation we require the invoivce to be paid a minimum of 2 weeks prior to our visit. Please use invoice number as your reference and reply with the remittance advice whenever possible.

What’s the Experience cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel your booking or change the date, please contact us on 9809 5260 and follow up with an email to experience@wsnsw.org.au to be sure your cancellation or change is in writing. We charge a 100% cancellation fee for less than 1 weeks notice and 50% for less than 2 weeks notice. If you need to reschedule you will only be charged our 50% rescheduling fee if you have given less than 2 weeks notice. If your booking is more than 2 weeks away you can use the link in your confirmation email to cancel or make changes yourself.

What if our school or organisation has no wet weather facilities?
If you have indicated that your venue does not have wet weather facilities, in the event of a rainy day or forecasted rain, please phone our presenter (mobile number provided in your confirmation email) the night before or as early as possible on the morning of the visit to make a decision on either re-scheduling or going ahead with the booking.

Do our school teachers need to be present for the activity?
Our presenters are not teachers, therefore, as with all school based activities, the supervising teacher is responsible for the behaviour management of the group participating in activity. The presenter reserves the right to stop the game if student behaviour becomes dangerous or unacceptable in any way.
