Our 2025/2026 Impact Report

Since 1961, our Mission has been to change the lives of people with disabilities through sport.  

In 2025/2026, our Impact Report articulates the changes we’re making in the lives of our Members, right across NSW/ACT. It was an historic year in the history of Australian Wheelchair Sport, achieved through a community of like-minded people with a shared purpose.

Our Strategic Plan - Formidable

The pioneers in Wheelchair Sport across Australia were a formidable bunch. These men and women created organisations that have transformed the lives of so many people with disabilities for more than 60 years.

As guardians of Wheelchair Sports NSW/ACT, our job is to lead with the same tenacity, resilience and sense of camaraderie the giants of Wheelchair Sport showed us. 

Our 2025-2028 Strategic Plan challenges us to continue building a modern, secure, professional organisation that can provide excellent Wheelchair Sport for current and future Members.

We are challenged to be formidable, like those who came before us.
