3 days of Elite Racing
This event will allow Australian athletes to compete against some of the world's best para-athletes on the world-renowned AIS track. The 2026 meet will be held over 3 days and will include the Australian Athletics 1500m and 5000m Senior Wheelchair Championships.

Being a WPA Approved Competition, performances and records achieved by athletes with an International Level Classification will be officially recognized by the IPC and reflected in the World Para Athletics rankings. To learn more about WPA Classifications, click HERE.

All welcome
The event is once again open to all wheelchair racers, frame runners, and seated throwers, allowing developing and young athletes to compete and challenge themselves against strong competition. 

Mentor Clinics
The popular Mentor Clinic will return in 2026, held at the AIS track on Thursday 22 January 2026. The clinic will feature several interesting and captivating presentations targeted at all athletes, regardless of what stage they're at in their athletic career. 

Accommodation
We have arranged accommodation at the AIS with single/twin share rooms available with meals included from 20th-24th January 2026.

Airport transfers will be provided from Canberra Airport to the AIS on January 20th and 21st only (and return before 8:00AM on 24th January 2026)

If you arrive before the 20th of January, you will have to arrange your own transport to your accommodation.

Please register before December 10th to take advantage of the accommodation offers. Rooms are limited, with priority given to athletes staying for the duration of the track meet.
