The Great Australian Wheelchair Race

The Oz Day 10K is open to all wheelchair racers who have trained and are capable of completing the 10km course. This allows developing and young athletes the opportunity to compete and challenge themselves against strong competition, as well as the chance to race alongside Paralympians.

Transport

WSNSWACT will provide transportation from the official hotel to all official events and Sydney Airport for departures until Wednesday 27th January.

Athletes competing in the 2027 Oz Track Classic will be provided transport to the Novotel Sydney West HQ on Wednesday 27th January.

Accommodation

Rydges Sydney Central is the official hotel for the 2027 Oz Day 10K. WSNSWACT have secured a number of Accessible and Superior rooms under a group booking.

Rooms can be configured to accommodate either one person with a king-size bed or two people with two single beds. Athletes who wish to share a room and split the accommodation cost may nominate their preferred roommate by entering their roommate’s name in the “Preferred Roommate” field during registration. Invited athletes are also encouraged to nominate a preferred roomate, as they may be accommodated with other athletes, subject to availability and room allocations.

Athletes competing in the 2027 Oz Day 10K have priority in this group booking. Coaches, parents, and other supporters are encouraged to make separate arrangements, or can express interest in joining this group booking by sending an email to meekv@wsnsw.org.au and we'll be in contact in December if there are still available rooms.
