Wheelchair AFL is one of the fastest-growing wheelchair sports in Australia. A unisex game open to all abilities, Wheelchair AFL offers a great opportunity for people living with disabilities—and those without—to play sport alongside one another.
The sport has been developed to give all Australian Football enthusiasts with a disability a match-play experience that closely mirrors the traditional game. Wheelchair AFL is easy to learn, not overly physically demanding, and is played in an environment that prioritises participation, enjoyment, and safety.
At its core, Wheelchair AFL allows people of all ages and ability levels to take part in mixed competitions. These can fit around busy lifestyles while offering both a social and fitness outlet.
