Rolling Rainbow Sports Day 2026

Event information

Registration for this event closes at Sat 19 Sep 2026 23:00.

The Rolling Rainbow Sports Day is a day of celebrating LGBTQ+ inclusion in wheelchair sport. We will have a range of different wheelchair sports, including Wheelchair Basketball, Bowls, Wheelchair Tennis, and Wheelchair AFL.
It's a free, multi-sport day for members and allies of the rainbow community to come along, dress fun, let loose, and play some wheelchair sport. Everyone is welcome, here are the details:

Date: Sunday 20st September 2026
Time: 10am-2pm
Venue: Concord Oval Recreation Centre
Cost: FREE!
Ability: All abilities - the only ability you need is the ability to have fun!

The Rolling Rainbow Sports Day is an inclusive day of adaptive sports, meaning able-bodied and people living with a disability will be able to join in and have a great time together!

No experience is necessary as there will be plenty of expert coaches on hand to teach the rules and skills required across the different sports. Please bring your sport chair if you have one, otherwise we can provide one.

We encourage you to invite all family and friends. The venue is child friendly, however, please note that there are no change tables. There are accessible toilets and restrooms inside the facility right next to the courts we will be playing on.

Please note that there will be photography throughout the event, but you may specify in your registration if you do not want your image to be shared.

If you would like more information or you have some questions, please get in touch.
